This might be the year for a conference room chair face off, with most major manufacturers introducing new conference room chairs in June. Office furniture giant Steelcase is launching its most ambitious line of new products in more than a decade this year, including making the conference room a more comfortable place for those endless meetings.

Finally, the company's newest chair, cobi, recognizes that we don't always sit facing forward. The chair has a rubber edge along the top, making it more comfortable to sit with one arm draped over the chair.

There is also a subtle side to side movement, again for users who twist around and work over the back of the chair.

The mechanics of the chair allow for the same ride, no matter how large or small the user.
